Not mentioned anywhere, this mound group is pretty conspicuous once you're at the cemetery. To find the cemetery, drive south
on Highway 35 (Great River Road) from LaCrosse, past Stoddard, and look for Riverside Lane as soon as you passed Bergen Bluff
State Natural Area. If you reach Genoa - turn around because you missed it. The cemetery is operated by the Town of Bergen.
There are 9 extant conical mounds at the cemetery, scattered among modern graves. The group was described by Increase Lapham
and had many more mounds at that time. Just like most of the rest of the mounds at cemeteries, these are mowed, but otherwise
don't experience heavy pedestrian traffic or other disturbance.
