The Mound Cemetery in Racine has, according to a plaque there, 14 conical mounds scattered among the latter day graves. The mounds
are in good shape and, being in the midst of the cemetery, their protection is secured. The only problem, just like with the most mounds,
is mowing. Interestingly, not much information is out there about this locally well-known group. It doesn't seem to be included in the
National Register of Historic Places either.
