I could only find the site by asking locals, who pointed at the parcel of land owned by the county next to the Roxbury Valley Trap Club.
The site is unmarked and it’s impossible to know it's a public property. Inside the woods, I found what looked like 3 linears, with some
work done recently to remove shrubbery from them. I didn’t see a bear and a bird, or any of the water spirit effigies, although I didn’t
charge through the thicket or crossed the Roxbury Creek.
